I am a professional civil engineer and a project management professional registered with the PMI. From 2009 to 2019, I opened and successfully built-up a regional business unit of a multi-disciplinary consulting firm in the built environment, generating fees of approximately ZAR150 million (US$10 million) and overseeing or managing projects of a capital value of approximately ZAR20 billion (US$1,4 billion).  After moving to Germany in 2020 I joined TPM Engineers as a Senior Contract and Claim Manager primarily working on offshore wind parks and offshore platforms.

I have a broad range of project experiences in infrastructure provision and property developments including multiple complex multi-disciplinary projects.

I am a well-rounded and self-motivated engineer and project and program manager and team leader with strong business acumen having successfully led businesses or business divisions for fifteen years.  I have a professional attitude and take a creative and entrepreneurial approach to new business opportunities.  I have developed excellent IT skills and enjoy innovating and adopting new technological solutions.

Having started my career at Aurecon, I left after being offered an opportunity at Vodafone in the start-up year of cellular telephony in South Africa.  After establishing a sound infrastructure base for Vodafone, I jumped at the opportunity to gain international experience in Kuala Lumpur and was then offered an opportunity to join a property developer on my return to South Africa.  After a successful period at Inframax, I established my own project management company and during the same period co-founded an innovative property management company focussed on managing rental properties specifically for investors.  In 2009, I opened and successfully developed a regional business unit for Delta BEC in Cape Town.  I have been self-employed since moving to Germany in 2020.  More employment history detail.
